Ok, so we are 6 days away from the marathon, and the race jitters have officially set in.

But now is not the time to worry.  Instead, I MUST FOCUS.

I’ll be watching this video at least once this week to give me some more inspiration.  This is a preview.

You can watch the full episode here.  If you are like me, you may need some Kleenex towards the end.

    Catch you all later.

Hey, your second picture isn’t showing up, but maybe it’s just my browser. I saw that movie, it’s really good!

Just relax…. you can do this. Yes you can! I’m sure your dad can give you some great advice too. Is he running it with you?

I really enjoyed that Marathon Challenge episode of NOVA too… I assume you’ve also seen Spirit of the Marathon? I didn’t watch either of those before my marathon in December, though, I was afraid they would be too stressful. What I did watch (and I know this sounds weird) was the marathon running portion of the last Biggest Loser, because I knew if those four people who were much less trained (for the distance) than me could make it through a marathon, then I definitely could! YOU WILL BE GREAT!! Have a wonderful time!

That show really was an inspiration, particularly to those who had previously convinced themselves they couldn’t do a marathon. Those that made it to Boston here proved you can do it. Now, someone pass me a Kleenex.

You can do it! You’ve prepared and the feeling of accomplishment you’ll have at the end is great. I still remember it vividly and it was 2003! Can’t wait to hear all about it!
